When the Last Tree Is Cut Down, the Last Fish Eaten, and the Last Stream Poisoned, You Will Realize That You Cannot Eat Money”
“In the Philippines, there are schools (Elementary and Highschool) wherein the students are encourage to plant trees or vegetables within the school vicinity. In some cases, the students are being motivated to join organizations that aim to plant trees in deforested areas which are good for our environment. There are also contests organize during Science Month that showcase students creativity in developing new stuffs out of trash (recycled materials). Representative students from each class models the recycled gowns. Creativity and team work counts."
